On July 3, 1971, Jim Morrison died. He was best known as the lead singer of The Doors. He was also known as the Lizard King and Mr. Mojo Risin'.
Mr. Mojo Risin is an anagram for Jim Morrison.
It was in the song L.A. Woman, that Jim Morrison mentioned Mr. Mojo Risin'.
In the song Roadhouse Blues, Morrison displayed his love for beer, by proclaiming

Crap... why didn't I make it Boulder MoJo Risin Double IPA? Forgot about that one, apparently; ah, it's because I haven't had it, or at least it's not on my spreadsheet.

Hmmm. I might have to try both of them. Shall I pick a date that coincides with one of the Lizard King's many arrests perhaps! (Somehow I never figured beer was his problem so much as some other form of intoxicant(s).) Nice post!
