Rose Bowl robbed at gunpoint
URBANA – A downtown Urbana bar was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night.
According to Urbana police reports, a man entered the Rose Bowl Tavern, 106 N. Race St., at around 11:15 p.m., displayed a handgun, demanded money from the cash register and fled.
The gunman was described as a black male, 6 feet tall, about 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
He was said to be wearing a puffy black coat and a blue scarf.
