Alright internets, I want to find two of my old army buddies. Google searches don't seem to do anything productive.
If you know either of these two people, or you are one of either of them, have them email me, or post a comment and I'll get back with them.
Both of these guys were in the Army in Alaska with me.
1. Kevin Higgins. Was a SFC. I believe he moved to North Carolina after leaving Alaska. He was a ranger instructor before being in AK. He used to (and probably still does) ride a Harley.
2. Ricky Zimmerman. Rick was a SGT when we were in Alaska. Then he went to Korea and worked for the magazine there. He developed some kind of illness and got really skinny.

Any luck finding these fellows sarge? I tried tracking down some guys from my old 3rd Cav days, but without much luck. Ah, memories.
Haven't heard from them, or about them.
I wonder what's taking the internet so long to work? (it's probably got something to do with Ted Steven's; but I can't pinpoint the cause).
Good luck finding your guys. To think, if I stayed in I'd be at 20 years for pay now, and only 2 years away from full retirement.
You know what, I play that little retirement "what if" game myself from time to time...then I add, "but I might be dead, too."
I figure I got a decent college education paid for my Uncle Sammy, followed by a tolerable job as a county government flunky and the pride of knowing a few guys like you and I made a difference once upon a time.
As for the internets not granting all your wishes...maybe blame Al Gore; he invented the infernal thing! Keep up the great fun here. Going to Beer Wars tomorrow night!
